Beauty Trend: Berry lips

Beauty Trend: Berry lips
Berry lips are the perfect beauty statement for fall. The rich berry color really creates a statement that screams fall. This is a must try trend for the new season! My fav picks for achieving the trend:

Light Skin Tones
For those of you with fair skin I recommend a lighter berry shade that leans more towards the pink family in terms of color. This long wear lip gloss has fabulous staying power and the color will really complement your complexion! Stila lipgloss in Aria $24

Medium Skin Tones
This blackberry lipstick is perfect for medium skin tones because its not too light and its not too dark which makes a really nice color that is ultimately the most flattering for those with more tan skin tones. Bite beauty in Mulberry $24

Dark Skin Tones
This creamy lip shade from Nar's is perfect for deeper skin tones because its a really rich, dark color that will really complement your skin tone. Nars in Fast ride $27

Fall Fashion 2015
The Dusty Rose
Dusty rose is considered to be the new neutral for fall this year. Well it may not be like the neutrals your used to it goes with everything the way a traditional neutral should. Its a staple color to include in your new fall wardrobe!

This crop top from Topshop would look great paired with a pair of jeans in a color from the rose family. $28

A deeper rose color adds more of a sexy feel. Pairing the sweet, romantic dress with more edgy accessories such as the hat and metal necklace ( as shown in the picture) gives the look a more modern feel. Dress, Free People
Accessories to complete the look:

Adding something black to the look really balances out the femininity of the dusty rose giving you a more trendy look. Hat, Urban Outfitters
A statement necklace is a staple to have in your wardrobe. This silver metal necklace gives the look a hard edge and brings the attention upwards towards your face. Necklace, www.polyvore.com

Clashing Prints
Mixing prints is one of the more daring trends of Fall 2015. In order to not come off crazy you have to mix prints that go together and you have to find a balance in the look.
This tropical top is a bold pattern that mixes well with prints such as black and white stripes, another type of tropical print. Top, Forever 21
This striped skirt would really make the clashing prints work because its out there but not so much so were you start to look like you just threw on whatever. Skirt, Forever 21
This jacket provides the balance the look needs. Because it has the solid back sleeves it makes the other prints in the top stand out. This happens because both the skirt and the jacket are black and white but the top is a variety of colors drawing your eyes to the top. Jacket, Nordstrom rack

Lace up Flats
If you only get one new pair of shoes this fall make sure its these. The classic ballet flat fit has gotten a makeover when they added the lace up ties in the front. Totally cute and a total must have. Flats, ASOS.com

These flats are laced up more like the traditional ballet flats ballerinas use. So cute, so fresh you just have to love these ballet flats! Flats, Jeffery Campbell from Urban Outfitters
This fresh pop of color is sure to make your fall outfit pop! The lace up look gives it a modern twist thats still feminine and fun! Flats, Anthropology

I hope you enjoyed catching up on all the latest trends for fall and I hope you try some of them out and make a statement this fall! xoxo Sequins

Trend Alert:

Provenience
Provenience is all about mixing natural organic fabrics with organic shapes and cuts to create an overall look thats slightly unfinished and has a very earthy vibe.

The trend often includes a lot of denim fabrics because the unfinished, sort of rugged look the fabric can produce, greatly contributes to the natural feeling of the trend. (jeans from Topshop)

The blouse in this photo is made of cotton and you can tell by the loose, easy cut of the top that they are going for the more laid back look, AKA provenience.

By incorporating natural materials such as rope into the outfit you are really creating an authentic provenience style. You could use the rope as a belt or as a bracelet, just be creative and really embrace the trend.

The leather boots included in this look really top off the provenance trend. It adds polish yet keeps the natural feel by being leather. Its a great thing to include to keep your style on trend but still wearable.

Color of the Month: Indigo
Indigo has been trending for some time now. The deep navy/oceany blue is a fresh way to mix up your wardrobe this summer. Think a breezy ocean, almost bohemian vibe this color gives off. It has just a pinch of purple in the mix which keeps it interesting. Don't be afraid to try this door trend!

Hair products I'm Loving Right Now

Hair Products I'm Loving Right Now:
Detox dry shampoo
This dry shampoo is amazing. When you skip a day of showering and need to get rid of oily hair this product will do the trick. Just spray on the roots and wherever your hair is oily and wait a few minutes before brushing the excess out. A definite necessity in your collection of hair products.
Redken dandruff control shampoo

This shampoo is great for treating dandruff. It helps eliminate itchy scalp and dry white flakes. You only want to use it a couple times a week though because it can dry out your hair (might want to pair with a moisturizing conditioner for that reason). After lathering it onto hair let it sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing. I highly recommend this shampoo it works!
Herbal Essences long term relationship shampoo/conditioner
I have used these hair products for the longest time now. They smell amazing and are really good if you just want a mild cleanse and you don't really have any specific hair care needs. They help long hair grow and remain healthy but I think they would work just fine on short hair as well. Overall just a really good everyday shampoo for basic cleansing.
Caviar moisture shampoo

This shampoo is a life savor for those with dry hair. It smells like lemons and gives your hair touchable softness. Its the best. Also if you have dandruff on the days you don't use the Redken dandruff shampoo I would recommend using this moisturizing shampoo because it helps moisturize the scalp which reduces white flakes. Overall, fabulous shampoo it says its anti-ageing but I really don't know how a shampoo could be anti aging, I mean really?
TRESemmé all day hold gel
This hair gel is great for taming curly hair or for taming fly aways. Its a nice gel for keeping together fancy hairstyles etc.
Living Proof dry hair repair shampoo/conditioner
These products I have recently tried and they work miracles! The shampoo smells like heaven and it moisturizes hair and scalp. The conditioner is super thick and loaded with moisterzing ingredients that make your dry ends super soft. Its good for those of you who have dry or damaged hair. I totally recommend you try. If you want a sample of the products first just write/email living proof and they would be happy to send you some free samples!

I hope you try out some of these products they really do work I've tried them all!
